Drell Bottorff, President
Drell was accepted into the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta, then transferred into the Faculty of Science after two years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Specialization in Genetics. Subsequently, completed a Master of Science (MSc.) at the University of Alberta. During his studies, he worked part-time for the family construction company and local construction company hired to renovate campus heritage houses and a fraternity residence.
Post-Graduation, Drell worked in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry laboratories as a Research scientist for 17 years in this field, mainly in cancer research with success while still working part-time in construction as a hobby.
In 2006, Drell decided to leave academics to start Molecular Construction Ltd. full time, doing work renovating and building new residential, commercial, and industrial projects. As with research, Drell’s eye for detail and maintaining a meticulous standard carried over into construction. Client satisfaction is Drell’s goal for every project.
